Course Description

In this workshop we will discuss injuries and conditions commonly seen in our gentle Yoga classes: Degenerative Disc damage in the spine, knee and hip injuries and those students needing or having had joint replacements, rotator cuff tears, cancer and the side effects of treatment, chronic illnesses, Thoracic Outlet Syndrome, osteoporosis, osteoarthritis, etc. Bring questions regarding your own students!

This class promises to be an active discussion of contraindications and best practices when working with students. This session meets 200-hour requirements for yoga teacher training, and Continuing Education requirements.

Duration: 3.25 Hours – CEU Certificate for 3.25 non-contact Yoga Alliance approved CEUs.
