Cathy is a certified yoga instructor with certification in Vinyasa Flow. She leads yoga instruction for employees within their working environments, and facilitates classes created specifically for baby boomers, zoomers and senior aged audiences. Cathy has a Certificate in Adult Learning and experience leading workshops, and retreats. She is enthusiastic about helping others develop their own sustainable and safe practice, achieving greater flexibility, strength and energy, inner peace and ultimately mobility for life. Just recently she completed her Chair Yoga Certification to more effectively support senior clients with unique mobility issues and chronic ailments. Her classes are gentle and progressive. She continually works with clients to provide guidance and support, encouraging participants to focus on exploring their own breath, moving in rhythm with their own ability. She currently leads group classes at the YMCA, Quinte Mind and Body and Get Yoga Studios, at Seasons (a senior’s residence facility – where her oldest client just turned 102 years old) private one-on-one instruction, and yoga instruction within corporate settings, all within the community where she lives in Eastern Ontario, Canada. Her quiet and calming voice have yielded a reputation for creating a lovely yoga experience that offer opportunities for self expression, meditation and quiet reflection. Cathy lives with her husband in a lovely remodeled school house in Northumberland County, Ontario. She enjoys being creative in artistic pursuits, including painting/drawing and listening to music, enjoying time in nature and spending time with friends, and family.
