Gail Gratzel
Toms River, New Jersey
United States
Gail started taking yoga classes in 2012, beginning by taking many restorative classes as she was healing from some curveballs that life had thrown her way. As she became more curious, she began to explore classes that were outside of her comfort zone, and ultimately the path led her to her first 200 hour teacher training with Ever Yoga in 2019.
Gail’s interests lie in the area of domestic violence and trauma, and she has completed the Exhale to Inhale Teacher Training in 2019, which is a trauma informed yoga program. She has also received a certification in Pure Chair Yoga with Bella Buddha in 2019. She completed the Advanced Chair Yoga Teacher Training with Yoga Vista Academy in 2022. She is especially interested in bringing yoga to populations where traditional yoga may not be accessible, and to populations who have experienced some sort of trauma in their lives. She believes that there are no words to describe the benefits, both physical and emotional, that yoga can bring into a person’s life. She is grateful for having the practice of yoga in her life, as well as being able to share with others what she has learned.
Gail currently teaches yoga at a local community center, as well via Zoom for a local library and yoga studio where she recently moved from.
