Janet was in her early 50s when she first started taking yoga classes as means of incorporating more exercise in her life. In her desire to share yoga with others her age or older, she completed a 200 hour yoga teacher training program and later a chair yoga teacher training at Yoga Vista Academy. Janet teaches gentle yoga and chair yoga incorporating mindfulness and meditation. Her classes explore poses that can improve posture, flexibility, strength, breathing and mood.
