I graduated from my 200 hour training with the intention of never teaching. Soon after my graduation a group of women with whom I have been friends most of my life..all of them much older than I, started asking me to teach them yoga. I kept saying no because it was very intimidating to think of teaching yoga to people who were older and who I cared about so deeply. One of the women, Winkie, who has known me since I was a little girl and was also my high school English teacher, finally said to me “Kate, I want to do yoga before I die.” Well, shoot. No way to say no to that. So I went online and found your site. And it’s been lovely…I’m now doing something I had no idea would make me so happy.
