Maria Perez

Director of Operations for the Yoga Vista After turning 40, Maria began taking Yoga classes and soon they became an essential part of her life. She became a Yoga teacher (RYT 200) in 2016 and taught sporadically at various studios and gyms. In 2019, she was offered a Chair Yoga class at a SilverSneakers Flex location (Elite Health in Pembroke Pines, Florida) and it turned her life around! After receiving her Chair Yoga and Gentle Yoga certifications from Yoga Vista Academy, she finally found the joy she was looking for in sharing Yoga with the Senior (65+) community. She believes Yoga can teach all of us how to be more focused, more balanced, more accepting, more grateful, more peaceful, more compassionate, and more prepared for whatever life throws at us.
