Hello everyone. UPDATE.
Turns out Apple couldn’t sell me anything that would work for my problem. A very patient and kind Apple Tech support person recommended that I look at a website called Sweetwater.com
This Apple support person is an audio tekkie by hobby; he has been happy with his purchases there, and with their staff.
I have a call into them!
On a side note, I learned that the different Lavalier mic systems that I purchased on Amazon (and returned) are NOT iOS compatible. 🤦♀️ Big Ah-HA moment right there. Thank you, Corey, for your reply!
Hello. Not sure if this has already been discussed. I’ve heard from a couple of yoga teachers that the Apple Air Pod Pro buds (and built in microphone) work well with iPhone/ipad that teacher is using as their camera. May not work well for a flow class but for chair yoga buds stay in/mic is good.

Ohhhh my Carin! The trial and error learnings of the tech journey! I’ve been there! While it’s frustrating, I always tell myself that at least I have more knowledge now than I did before…and then I have to let the frustration go. Thank you for sharing YOUR experience with us so that others can avoid this pitfall. This is a gracious demonstration of shared community knowledge. Keep us post on your progress, please! And GOOD LUCK!!!
